A Reunion Update and Request for E-Mail Addresses

Recently, an e-mail was sent out to all classmates for whom we had e-mail addresses.  In order to reach more of you in this manner, we are trying to update our class list with those e-mail addresses that we are missing or are out of date.  If you did not receive an e-mail from the Reunion Committee on or about May 17, 2010, that means we do not have a current e-mail address for you.  It would be very helpful, if you would provide your e-mail address to us by using either the Contact function on our web site or by e-mailing the Reunion Committee at dhsreunion1960@hotmail.com with the information.  Being able to communicate with folks by e-mail has been a big asset in answering questions and providing information, and we anticipate that, going forward, there will be more occasions to do so.  Thanks for your help with this.

For those classmates who have not received the recent e-mail, a copy is provided below.  It's not only a request to complete the forms sent to you in the Reunion Information Packet, if you haven't done so, but also provides some additional reunion information. 

 

You know how “they say” time goes by faster as we get older.  Well, our DHS 50th Reunion will be here before we know it.

Thank you to everyone who has sent in pictures from our early years.  I’m sure that you have enjoyed seeing them on the website.  Please send in more.  Mail snap shots to Carol Beck Schmidt at 7741 SE Doubletree Dr. Hobe Sound, FL 33455, or, e-mail them to: DHS1960Reunion@hotmail.com.  The snapshots will be returned to you.

The due date for your reservation for the Reunion Dinner/Dance is June 1.  We would like to know as soon as possible how many people to expect.  Many decisions are made by the numbers that are planning to attend. 

We have received many biographies to include in our 50th Anniversary Yearbook but would like to reach our goal of having everyone represented.  Even if you do not plan to attend the reunion dinner, please send in your biography as we would like our 50th Yearbook to be as complete as possible.  We need about two months lead time to get the book together, printed, and mailed, so please send in your information as soon as you can.  Mail the completed biography form to Mary Ann Napolitan Hupp at 8145 Rosemont Drive, Plano, TX 75025, or, fill out the form on the web site DumontHS1960.com to send it electronically.  Just in case you do not have your Reunion Information Packet which was sent out in February of this year, all documents are available on our web site by going to the Reunion Info tab.

The rate per night, at the Saddle Brook Marriott Hotel for the weekend of September 24th and 25th has been reduced.  The rate for our reunion will be $85.00 per night.  Please note that there was a number error in the phone number in our Reunion Packet.  The phone number for the Saddle Brook Marriott Hotel is 201-843-9500.
