A Visit to Palisades Amusement Park

The Memory Lane questions and answers, posted in an earlier news item, inspired Greg (Simonian) Madison to do a little reminiscing and research that produced the link below to some amazing footage of the Palisades Amusement Park.  Greg writes:

"There are videos showing all parts of the park like you are walking through it or flying over it. A second video shows the roller coaster in action including a section like you were riding on it going up and then down in it. I used to go swimming there also. I am trying to remember if they had salt water there instead of using chlorine. I wonder if anyone else would remember that. For some reason I remember the water was like you were in the ocean.  My mother used to take me there when I was in grade school before I started going there on my own years later. She loved swimming in the salt water. What was your best experience at the park? We might get some interesting answers on that question. What was your worst time there. Maybe you remember getting sick on the rollercoaster or something."

Enjoy the video, and if you feel inspired as Greg was, send in your answers to his questions, or just your thoughts, through the comments function under this news item.  Palisades Amusement Park--another fond memory in our time of growing up.
